Rabbit Holes
…on the confluence of factors on December 19th, 2021
One of the many reasons I use Holes to Heavens as the name to represent the work I do relates to rabbit holes. There are Egyptian hints, Jack Johnson, and clues that lead to anomalies in our solar system as well. But when it comes to rabbit holes, there are a few upon us that we may find Alice in if we are lucky.
On December 19th, there will be three significant events, each representing its own little portal to travel into. There is Venus stationing retrograde close enough to Pluto to smell his ineffable breath; There is another station, but this one direct by Chiron; And there is the Full Moon in Gemini (27º29') which gave me the go-ahead to talk about rabbit holes. The reason is, the Chandra Symbol reads: A cloud in the shape of a rabbit. There is an old practice, I’m sure still practiced to this day, of divining with clouds. It’s called nephelomancy. Like any form of divination, many factors are included, like: wind, shape, height, color, whether they were seeded or not, direction, etc etc. And if we were to perform some nephelomancy for this moment as I write with the wind ripping through the Rockies, throwing the clouds high into the upper atmosphere, stealing the electricity from us humans on earth, I would say that we are in for a whirlwind to come this holiday season.
When we consider Venus stationing in Capricorn so close to Pluto, it sets the tone for the 40 days and nights of trials and tribulations to come. We will all get to glance into the eyes of a few old mirrors we come in contact with, becoming reacquainted with parts of ourselves we thought were lost, or that had died off. Nothing is lost. We will hopefully reframe our relationship to power, to sovereignty, and find the capacity to condense facts from the vapor of scandalous nuance being fed to us by those in “control” as well. A storm is brewing, no doubt.
When we turn our gaze to Chiron who is standing up from the fire outside his cave, gearing up, and getting ready for some forward momentum, we realize the amount of healing that still needs to be done in the seriousness of his movements. We are all traumatized. Not just from the last couple of years, but from living in a world separated from what that wise centaur knows to be most important. And so, as the tornados form and the earth shakes and the water rises, Chiron will be moving ahead in Aries territory in our charts, equipping us with the will to live and the capacity for forgiveness.
And all of this happens under Full Moon light-Gemini light, some of the most interesting kind. Gemini light is jam-packed with informative photons that awaken dormant parts of our imagination, gifting us with surprising ideas which lead us to many far-off places. The Chandra which was referenced earlier also hints at intuitive abilities we could always improve on. Who knows, maybe this Full Moon illuminates a path for you, one which has something to do with clouds, rabbit holes, and, of course, heaven.
