To understand where we are at, we just need to spend some time contemplating what’s happening between Aries and Cancer. There have been a few ingresses in this territory lately, alongside the larger themes towering over them.

In Aries, Jupiter is headed for Chiron’s cave
In
Taurus, Mars and Uranus are going to create electricity with the dragon by the end of the month (Rahu)
In
Gemini, there are two beautiful ladies spinning threads-Venus and Pallas Athene
And in
Cancer, Mercury has joined the stellium which correlated with the Supreme Court decision

It’s a lot. And what comes to mind is an old Apache saying, “It is better to have less thunder in the mouth and more lightning in the hand.”. In less poetic words: Talk is cheap; Actions speak louder than words; Show me.

We are all guilty of saying we are going to change, yet we never do. It’s the root of the ruin of so many relationships and the source of the decay of a purpose-driven life. We could blame social media or our jobs or money or whatever has us seeing red with the crosshairs hastily aimed, but it does nothing. Blame is a useless tool. Less thunder, more lightning from the hands. Remember this.

Seen from Aries territory with the Lord of Lightning and Thunder (Jupiter) visiting the medicine man (Chiron), it’s a once-in-a-decade opportunity to take action and heal it up. This only happens when we finally take the medicine. It’s always bitter and it’s usually our own. Good medicine reveals our own projections.

From the perspective of the actions in Taurus, there is an exciting moment of reinvention happening with the Uranus/North Node conjunction, and it’s our job to not let Mars mess it up. The immovable convictions and wasted efforts of trying to change people’s minds-or move mountains-is a potential expression of Mars in this space. He’s not fond of being here. He feels debilitated. Like there is too much mud on his boots and his horse has shoes made of sticky clay. The mission is to be convinced we are capable of change.

The ladies amongst the flowers in Gemini are having important conversations (Venus & Pallas). Over tea and surrounded by MidSummer’s colors they rally back n’ forth about the news and how we break the spell of the coddling of the Western mind. There is information out there that will help catalyze all of this and we will never find it in our comfortable chamber of echoes. We must branch out. Take in opinions we disagree with. See the world through other eyes.

And finally, we consider Cancer and see how it too helps us to find the medicine. It’s been clearly pointed out how the Solstice and the Cancer New Moon brought forth the overturning of Roe v. Wade, and naturally, has exacerbated all of the above. Mercury is now present in this space, alongside Lilith and Ceres. He’s listening. And even though Hermes is androgynous and energetically neutral, he can still be caught taking sides, just like us. He’s listening deeply and readying himself for another trip to the underworld as he flies behind the Sun, soon to appear in the West with deep wisdom to share with us all from the evening sky. But before that happens, some ideas must be killed off while he is in the darkness.

There is nothing easy about our moment in time. With dreadful uncertainty about the environment, the economy, the state of the “Union,” war, heat, famine, energy, and aliens, we have a lot to ponder. Nobody knows. Be wary of those we pretend to. We are truly in a collective question mark. The best we can do is make the changes we know we must make in our own lives. It may be wise to try and quit attempting to change other minds, cold turkey; it never works, never has, and it never will. Instead, we must attempt to change our own. This is the Great Work.

Find this beautiful swarm of energies in your chart between Aries and Cancer to see how they are impacting you. What planets are they talking to? What aspects are being made? If you need help, the world now has more astrologers than ever. I’m confident you can find one you love.
