(On Aries, the New Moon, and its Lordship)
Edward Snowden made it painfully clear to those listening that we are being watched. Even if we’ve done nothing wrong, our government is keeping more tabs than we’d ever like to know. He’s a man born with Mars in Gemini conjunct the North Node, a signature we are all facing right now. For Edward, his dragon involves leaking information, fighting for privacy, and blowing whistles so loudly he’s been stuck in Russia for nearly a decade. In my eyes, he’s a Gemini hero because of this bravery.
And so here we are, in the darkness of an Aries New Moon, Venus squaring off with Pluto, a bit paranoid about the next steps the powerful will take, and this Mars/Rahu situation looming at the base of the tower. It’s clear to me one of the sneaky manifestations of this congregation is the vaccine passport. Whether it will be fully implemented, the stakes are high with this one. Whether you are pro-vaccine or anti-vaccine isn’t the conversation here, the point is privacy. Another strong point that could be made is around segregation between those who have been jabbed and those who have not. The implications are vast and a bit terrifying.
If we were to ask Mars what to do about it, he would strongly encourage us to share information by Mr. Snowden and others who have leaked the truth.
If we were to ask Venus what to do about it, she would gently encourage us not to fight, but to listen while holding strong to what we know to be true.
If we were to ask Pluto, he would tell us to question everything.
If we were to ask Rahu, we may just get an ear beating as if by one of our conspiracy-minded friends.
Whoever we ask, we must always remember the gauge for Truth is curated between the mysterious beats of our own hearts. I write this to honor our freedom. And what does Aries represent more if not our personal freedoms and the right to discover the truth in our own way?
